Minister of Housing Orders Removal of Encroachments on State Land in Beni Mazar

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued 31 decrees mandating the removal of encroachments on land owned by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) in Beni Mazar New City, totaling an area of 323.67 acres.

The minister emphasized the ongoing efforts to eliminate illegal construction and encroachments to safeguard state assets and uphold the urban aesthetic of new cities. According to the decrees, the illegal activities to be removed include unauthorized agricultural activities, block-built rooms and rest areas, a brick house, and quarrying operations for clay soil, all of which lack legal permits and are not eligible for regularization.

The removal process will be overseen by the city’s development authority with support from the Urban Development Police and local law enforcement. The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to preserving public land and enforcing regulations across all new cities.
