The Ministry of Housing has officially announced the reservation of social housing apartments beginning November 18, revealing locations, prices, and delivery timelines for various cities. A total of 78,730 housing units will be offered, divided into under-construction and ready-for-delivery categories.
The breakdown includes:
- 40,607 under-construction units with a 90 m² area
- 1,175 under-construction units with a 75 m² area
- 11,920 ready-for-delivery units with a 90 m² area
- 1,070 ready-for-delivery units with a 75 m² area
Additionally, the offer will cover various governorates, with 608 ready-for-delivery units (75 m²) and 23,350 units (90 m²) available for immediate delivery.
Available Units by City: Ready-for-delivery units for low-income citizens include:
- New October: 3,200 units
- 10th of Ramadan: 120 units
- New Borg El Arab: 1,000 units
- New Sadat: 2,400 units
- New Sohag: 420 units
- New Minya: 800 units
- New Qena: 1,000 units, and others.
Prices:
- Ready-for-delivery units range from EGP 184,000 to EGP 530,000.
- Under-construction units to be delivered in 36 months are priced between EGP 542,000 and EGP 700,000.
Payment Terms:
- No cash payments allowed; buyers must use mortgage financing with interest rates of 8% for low-income and 12% for middle-income citizens, with down payments starting from 20% and repayment periods up to 20 years.
Eligibility conditions include age and income limits, ensuring affordability for both individual and family applicants.
