Engineer Mohamed Mostafa, Head of the 6th of October City Development Authority, announced that the city has launched a large-scale campaign aimed at monitoring and removing violations and encroachments. The campaign successfully halted illegal construction activities and implemented immediate removal of building violations and encroachments on public roads throughout the city.
The campaign specifically targeted several locations where construction exceeded permitted limits. Illegal expansions of rooftop areas were stopped in areas including plot number 1 and plot number 27 in the “Karma City” compound in the Northern districts, as well as plot numbers 66 and 68 in the “Small Investor” zone, and plot number 615 in the “Most Distinguished” area. Additionally, violations and unauthorized activities were addressed on plot number 699 in the Third District, Fifth Neighborhood, where a change in land use was discovered.
The campaign also extended to the removal of encroachments and road obstructions in key areas such as around the Hosary area, the Central Axis, the Kafrawy Axis, and Leila Al-Qadr Square. Authorities also seized eight unlicensed “tuk-tuk” vehicles during the operation.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the 6th of October City Development Authority to ensure compliance with urban planning regulations and maintain order within the city.
