Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, issued nine orders for the removal of illegal building violations within the first and second sectors of the North West Coast, as well as unauthorized constructions within the boundaries of New Beni Mazar City. These areas are under the ownership of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).
The minister’s decision mandates the removal of illegal developments on a 24.47-acre plot of NUCA-owned land within the boundaries of New Beni Mazar City. These unauthorized works include agricultural use and structures built without legal backing.
Additional orders focus on the demolition of illegal buildings on plots in a tourist village within the second sector of the North West Coast, including constructions consisting of ground floors and upper levels, as well as concrete foundations and columns. Violations also include unauthorized ground-floor buildings and a concrete structure with wooden formwork in the Sidi Abdel Rahman area, south of the coastal road.
Other violations involve the construction of a fourth floor in a tourist village north of the Alexandria/Marsa Matrouh coastal road, covering an area of 400 square meters, all without obtaining the necessary building permits.
The decisions authorize NUCA officials, with the assistance of the Development Police and relevant authorities, to enforce these removals and restore compliance with the law.
