Cairo – The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has announced the launch of 1,645 residential units across eight new cities, with applications open from Sunday, September 29, 2024, until Monday, October 28, 2024. The units will be available through the respective city authorities.
The offering includes a variety of unit sizes and prices, aimed at meeting the housing needs of a wide range of citizens seeking homes in new urban developments. The pricing and availability details are as follows:
- 10th of Ramadan City: 255 units ranging from 63 to 105 square meters. Prices start at EGP 7,300 per square meter (National Housing Scheme) and EGP 7,000 per square meter (Al-Sweifi area).
- 6th of October City: 137 units, with sizes between 55 and 90 square meters, priced at EGP 8,210 per square meter in the Al-Yasmine Compound.
- New Mansoura: As part of the Janna Project, 878 units are available, with sizes ranging from 100 to 150 square meters, priced at EGP 12,600 per square meter.
- Obour City: 5 units ranging from 75 to 104 square meters, priced at EGP 11,750 per square meter in Bandar Obour.
- New Salhiya: 8 units with sizes between 65 and 91 square meters, priced at EGP 7,400 per square meter.
- New Mallawi: 240 units, part of the Janna Project, with sizes between 100 and 161 square meters, priced at EGP 7,950 per square meter.
- Borg El-Arab: 8 units, ranging from 79 to 140 square meters.
- New Rashid: 114 units with sizes between 90 and 93 square meters.
To apply, interested buyers must pay a down payment and purchase the application guidebook from the relevant city authority. Following the application period, units will be allocated through a public manual lottery system. This initiative is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to provide affordable and accessible housing across Egypt’s expanding urban landscape.
