Sharif El-Sherbiny, Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a comprehensive meeting to review the progress of key infrastructure projects in New Alamein City. The projects include water supply and sanitation facilities, as well as the construction of beachfront towers, all being carried out by the Arab Contractors Company. The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Ministry, the Utilities Sector, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and representatives from the Arab Contractors Company.
During the meeting, Minister El-Sherbiny instructed the Arab Contractors Company to accelerate the pace of work, particularly focusing on completing the finishing stages of the beachfront towers. He also emphasized the importance of coordination with the National Authority for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage to expedite the completion of high-progress infrastructure projects, ensuring they are operational as soon as possible. Additionally, the Minister urged the company to increase its efforts across all projects it is involved in nationwide.
El-Sherbiny reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the Arab Contractors Company and all national construction firms, aiming to push forward development and continue the country’s urban renaissance. He also highlighted the Ministry’s support for expanding these companies’ operations, particularly in undertaking projects for Egypt’s neighbors in the Arab and African regions.
