Minister of Housing Issues Orders to Remove Encroachments on 119.46 Acres in New Cities of El-Fashn and Beni Mazar

Engineer Sherif El-Shorbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued two decrees to remove encroachments on 119.46 acres of land in the new cities of El-Fashn and Beni Mazar, which are owned by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

The orders stipulate the removal of encroachments on 30 acres within the boundaries of New El-Fashn City, which have been used for irregular agricultural activities, including the construction of a workers’ rest area. Additionally, encroachments on 89.46 acres in New Beni Mazar City will be removed. These involve unauthorized agricultural activities, buildings, a solar power station, two rooms, a pond, and two groundwater wells, all of which were established without legal permits.

The decrees further state that the city authorities, with the assistance of Construction Police and local law enforcement, will oversee the execution of the removals.
