Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting yesterday with officials from the Housing and Development Bank and its marketing companies to review the marketing progress of several projects by the New Urban Communities Authority. This meeting is part of his regular sessions aimed at monitoring the implementation of marketing plans for new urban community projects.
During the meeting, the Minister discussed with the bank officials and their companies various proposals to maximize the utilization of the land portfolio and unit inventory held by the New Urban Communities Authority. They explored innovative ideas to enhance the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
El-Sherbiny also reviewed the current status of marketing plans for various residential, commercial, administrative, and recreational projects being implemented by the Ministry of Housing through the authority.
Attending the meeting were Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Head of the New Urban Communities Authority for Planning and Projects, who oversees the Minister’s office; Dr. Abdelkhalek Ibrahim, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs; Eng. Amin Ghoneim, Deputy Head of the Authority for Development and Urbanization; Dr. Hassan El-Shourbagy, Deputy Head of the Authority for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs; and members of the Minister’s technical office.
