Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadeq, President of Cairo University, praised the fruitful collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities. He emphasized that practical training plays a crucial role in swiftly integrating students into the workforce, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and fieldwork. This training enhances students’ practical skills and experiences, increasing their chances of securing distinguished positions in this vital sector.
Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for Planning and Projects and Supervisor of the Minister of Housing’s Office, explained that the training program aimed to prepare and qualify students for the job market. It focused on developing their talents and skills and providing them with hands-on experience. This effort aligns with the Ministry of Housing’s commitment, through NUCA and its affiliated entities, to continue Egypt’s urban development journey.
Dr. Mohamed Rifaat, Dean of the Faculty of Regional and Urban Planning at Cairo University, expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, as well as to Dr. Walid Abbas and everyone involved in training the students. He hopes for continued collaboration between the Ministry and the University to further prepare students for the job market. He also reaffirmed the President of Cairo University’s directive to continue opening new channels of cooperation to train more students.
