As part of continuous monitoring of housing developments and in line with the outcomes of the meeting held by Engineer Tamer Gabr, Head of the Obour City Development Authority, with representatives of Rawdat Al Obour residents, the authority’s head carried out a comprehensive field tour within the project. The visit aimed to track implementation progress and evaluate adherence to the recommendations agreed upon during the meeting.

Obour City Authority Head Emphasizes Quality Standards and Timely Delivery of Rawdat Al Obour Project

The tour covered several components of the project located in the Salam Second District, where progress rates across multiple work sites were reviewed.

He also assessed implementation levels related to construction, finishing works, and overall site coordination, stressing the need to comply with established timelines and speed up work rates to ensure on-time delivery without compromising quality standards.

He noted that Rawdat Al Obour is among the city’s major residential projects, consisting of approximately 134 residential buildings, along with a comprehensive range of services, including medical, educational, and other service facilities. This supports the state’s vision of developing integrated urban communities that offer a suitable living environment and meet citizens’ needs.

During the tour, Engineer Tamer Gabr highlighted the importance of strict compliance with approved technical specifications and execution of works in accordance with the Egyptian Code while maintaining quality and safety standards throughout all stages of implementation. He affirmed that increasing work rates must be accompanied by accuracy in execution and high performance efficiency.

The authority’s head also instructed the relevant departments to intensify daily field inspections and prepare precise periodic reports to ensure continuous monitoring of progress. He stressed the importance of ongoing coordination with the executing companies to address any challenges that may hinder workflow and to prevent delays in project timelines.

He confirmed that the Rawdat Al Obour project is a top priority within the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities’ plan to provide integrated housing units. He added that preparations are currently underway to offer the project’s units in the near future, alongside the completion of final finishing works and site coordination.

During the tour, the authority’s head reaffirmed the continuation of close on-site follow-up of all project activities to ensure that targeted objectives are achieved and to enhance the level of services provided to residents of Obour City.

The tour was attended by the authority’s deputies, Engineer Alaa Hammad and Engineer Mohamed Emad, in addition to heads of executive departments and representatives of the executing companies, as part of coordinated efforts to ensure smooth progress across all aspects of the project.
