Engineer Alaa Abdel Aal Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority and Supervisor of the Hadayek 10th of Ramadan Authority, conducted an inspection tour to review the progress of infrastructure works in the Green Housing Project.

The project is located in the Regional Services Area, specifically within phases five and six. The visit was attended by officials from the concerned departments and representatives of the executing companies and comes as part of ongoing efforts to accelerate implementation and ensure completion in line with the highest quality standards.

Monitoring Water, Sanitation, and Electricity Works Across Both Phases

During the tour, the focus was placed on following up on the execution of key utility networks, including drinking water and sanitation systems, as well as electricity works. The inspection also covered road subgrade preparation, paving activities, and the development of service lanes, all aimed at preparing the project for operation and maximizing its benefits for residents.

Throughout the visit, the Head of the Authority instructed that subgrade works in phase five be finalized within one week, while road construction continues simultaneously with other ongoing works. He highlighted the importance of precisely adjusting the levels of manholes and drainage covers to match asphalt levels, ensuring smooth traffic flow and avoiding any obstacles.

He further emphasized that entrances and exits should be designed according to proper engineering standards to enhance traffic efficiency and provide safe movement distances for vehicles, contributing to reduced congestion and improved safety within the project.

As part of efforts to upgrade services, he directed the implementation of side parking areas using interlock paving adjacent to residential buildings, along with studying the addition of U-turn points to shorten travel distances inside the project.

He also stressed the importance of completing electricity cable installations before proceeding with interlock paving for sidewalks in order to prevent the need for future re-excavation. In parallel, he called for the continuation of landscaping works alongside infrastructure development.

The Head of the 10th of Ramadan Authority underscored the necessity of full coordination among the authority, consultants, and executing companies to ensure quality execution, proper integration of works, and adherence to the project timeline.
