Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, to explore opportunities for strengthening joint cooperation in several areas of shared interest.
During the meeting, the minister highlighted the ministry’s dedication to fostering collaboration with leading educational institutions in a manner that supports integrated urban development and ensures a suitable environment for students in new cities, with a particular focus on New Alamein City.
Discussions also covered potential avenues of cooperation aimed at supporting the educational process, creating an encouraging environment for students, and delivering comprehensive services for learners.

Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, in turn, conveyed his deep appreciation and gratitude to the Minister of Housing for her ongoing support and attention to meeting the needs of the academy’s students.
He commended the positive cooperation with the ministry, noting that such support reflects the state’s commitment to strengthening a well-rounded educational environment in new cities, which helps prepare qualified graduates capable of contributing to society.
At the end of the meeting, the minister reaffirmed her willingness to extend further support to the academy and its students, emphasizing the importance of aligning efforts between educational institutions and government bodies to advance development plans, particularly in new urban areas.
