Sharqia Governor Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmony held an extensive meeting to follow up on several important files with heads of centers, cities, and districts, as well as directors of engineering and agricultural departments. The meeting addressed firm action against illegal construction, the implementation of immediate demolition orders, and the issuance of violation reports against owners of non-compliant properties.

The governor instructed the deputies of the Ministries of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform to review demolition decisions and implement them immediately before violations escalate, stressing the need to hold negligent officials accountable and honor committed ones, in line with the principle of reward and punishment to motivate employees to improve performance.

He emphasized the need to monitor the reconciliation process for building violations and track progress rates within technological centers, in addition to removing obstacles for citizens and facilitating procedures. He also called for intensifying the work of technical committees to speed up the review of applications and make use of the additional submission period granted.

The meeting concluded by reaffirming the importance of these files in safeguarding public funds and achieving sustainable development, while urging collective efforts to improve services across all sectors.
