Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly reviewed the latest developments of the new urban development project on Warraq Island, in the presence of several officials, with the aim of boosting implementation rates and achieving the project’s goals to improve the area economically, socially, and in terms of tourism.

Madbouly emphasized the importance of adhering to the project timeline and combating any encroachments or informal construction on the island.

The meeting also included a review of the progress made so far, including the disbursement of compensation to island residents, as well as the implementation of housing facilities and various public services such as service centers, schools, and healthcare facilities.

The meeting further discussed plans to establish a tourist promenade along the Nile Corniche and a central park as part of broader efforts to enhance the quality of life for residents and increase the area’s appeal to visitors.
