In response to the directives of Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) held an expanded meeting for the Main Crisis Room at the authority’s headquarters to enhance emergency-response mechanisms and improve readiness.
During the meeting, the team from IT Vikings presented a new application designed to improve the crisis-management system. The presentation explained how the app receives digital reports, classifies them based on severity, and manages incidents through an interface that relies on GIS systems for precise monitoring of report handling.

The application supports sharing GPS coordinates to track support teams and their movements in real time, enabling faster response. It also offers interfaces for support groups to exchange documents and photos, document events, and use a color-coded time-alert system that shows the stages of crisis management.
The system enables creating full or partial reports for each incident, along with daily and weekly reports covering all regions. It also includes pre-prepared scenarios with the ability to record the actual scenario, equipment used, and time taken.
The application additionally provides a dedicated interface for senior leadership to monitor events in real time across various cities.
