Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Maqsoud, Head of the New October City Development Authority, announced the upcoming activation of landline communication networks in cooperation with Telecom Egypt.
This move will allow beneficiaries of the residential units within the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in the West El-Matar area – Sector (A) to contract landline services through the October Central Office.

The step comes as part of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities’ efforts to enhance citizens’ quality of life and provide an advanced, fully integrated residential environment in the new cities.
Abdel-Maqsoud added that phase two of the project includes activating the service in 37 buildings, with plans to continue connecting networks progressively to the remaining buildings in Sectors (A) and (B), according to the planned timeline. He clarified that the service in this phase will be activated in buildings numbered 237 to 266, as well as 307 to 313.
