The Ministry of Housing has announced the opening of reservations for 25,012 residential units through the Official Egyptian Real Estate platform. These units fall under the second phase of the largest project launched by the Ministry, which includes nearly 400,000 housing units distributed across several phases.
This offering comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to provide suitable housing for citizens, in line with directives from the political leadership. The project aims to achieve the highest quality standards in the new cities, in accordance with the state’s comprehensive urban development plans and the vision of the New Republic.
Details of the “Zilal” Project and the Offered Units
The offering includes 9,412 apartments and penthouses with areas ranging from 114 to 227 square meters. Units can be reserved with a down payment starting from EGP 250,000, with installment plans extending up to 7 years.
Housing Projects and Reservation Down Payments
The offering includes several diverse residential projects across different cities:

“JANNA” and “Sakan Misr” Projects:
Including 2,986 units in New Mansoura and West Qena. -
Free Housing Project in New Suez City:
Includes 1,680 units. -
“Rawdat Al-Obour” Project:
Includes 264 units in Obour City with a down payment of EGP 151,000. -
“Diarna” Project:
Provides 10,614 units with a down payment starting from EGP 201,000, distributed across cities such as Sadat, New Borg El Arab, New Minya, New Beni Suef, and others. -
Ismailia Diverse Housing Project:
Includes 2,000 units with a down payment starting from EGP 151,000.

Payment System
The payment system includes the following steps:

Payment of 20% down payment, plus 1% administrative fees and 5% for the Board of Trustees, within two months after the reservation phase ends.

Payment of 10% plus the maintenance deposit upon receiving the unit.

The remaining 70% is paid in equal quarterly installments over 3, 5, or 7 years, with interest determined by the Central Bank, plus 2% administrative fees and 0.5% Ministry of Finance instructions.

Installments begin three months after handover, with post-dated cheques submitted before receiving the unit.
