The El Shorouk City Development Authority has announced the offering of 13 commercial shops and one pharmacy for sale through a public auction. The available units range in size from 9 sqm to 39 sqm and are distributed across various locations within the city.
This offering comes as part of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities’ plan, in cooperation with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), to support commercial and service activities and improve the quality of services provided to residents.
The authority explained that the booklet of terms and specifications is available for interested participants and can be obtained from the authority’s headquarters for 299 EGP per shop or pharmacy. It also noted that site inspections can be carried out during official working hours to ensure all technical and commercial details are accessible to potential bidders.
The authority has scheduled the auction session for Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM at its headquarters. It also stated that the deposit required to enter the auction is 100,000 EGP for the pharmacy and 50,000 EGP for each commercial shop, emphasizing the importance of paying these amounts before the session begins.
Once the auction is awarded to the winner, they must complete the payment of 10% of the total sale value immediately, in addition to 1% administrative fees and 0.5% for the Board of Trustees. The maintenance deposit must be paid within one month from the auction date and before site handover. The remaining balance can be paid through flexible installment plans that offer various options to ease the payment process for buyers.
The authority added that the offering is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Law No. 182 of 2018, ensuring full transparency and adherence to legal guidelines.
