The New Damietta City Development Authority has continued its intensive field campaigns, in line with the directives of the Minister of Housing, to curb violations and encroachments in new urban cities.
Engineer Ashraf Fathy Mahmoud, Head of the Authority, confirmed that the committee responsible for enforcing removal decisions, in cooperation with the Construction Police, has closed and sealed 38 shops, residential units, and a storage facility operating without licenses in the Fourth and Fifth Neighborhoods and the West Port area.

He pointed out that the closure decisions were issued due to legal violations, as unlicensed commercial and professional activities were found operating inside residential units, garages, and lands not designated for such purposes.
