Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the recovery of an area of 55 acres and 170 land plots in the Tenth of Ramadan City. This action was taken due to violations of allocation terms and illegal seizure of land without legal documentation. This measure comes within the framework of the New Urban Communities Authority’s commitment to protecting state property and acting firmly against any attempts of land encroachment.
The Minister emphasized that there is no room for leniency towards any violations or attempts to illegally seize state land, stressing the implementation of necessary and immediate legal procedures to protect state property and prevent these infringements.

In a related context, the New Sphinx City Authority indicated the implementation of an extensive campaign to recover state land east of the Egypt-Alexandria Desert Road, with a total area of 55 acres. This campaign was carried out in cooperation with the Authority’s Security Directorate and with the support of the security departments of the October Gardens, October, New October, and Zayed authorities, under the supervision of the Construction Police in New Sphinx City.
On the other hand, the Tenth of Ramadan City Development Authority stated that, in coordination with the relevant security agencies, it executed decisions to withdraw and recover 170 land plots located in Neighborhood (53) in Tenth of Ramadan City. This came as a result of fundamental violations of contract terms, leading to the reversion of those lands to the ownership of the Authority.
