In accordance with the directives of Engineer Bassam Mohamed Fadel, Head of the El Shorouk City Authority, to work on preserving the urban appearance of the city and imposing discipline on public streets, the City Authority carried out an extensive campaign.
The campaign was led by Engineer Ramadan Abdel Samad, Vice President of the Authority and General Supervisor of District Administration, with the participation of the Security Director and in coordination with the Construction Police led by Colonel Mahmoud Shaker.
The campaign targeted the removal of encroachments, opening passages for pedestrians, and implementing closure and sealing decisions against violating establishments.

The Head of the Authority clarified that, as part of the campaign’s procedures, a commercial mall in the city center (Plots 28 and 29) was closed and sealed due to its failure to obtain Civil Defense approval and the operation of shops without licenses. Additionally, an unauthorized wall within Plot No. (36) in the Fourth District buildings was removed. A tricycle used for illegal excavation work was also confiscated, with the necessary legal measures taken.
The Head of the Authority affirmed that these efforts are part of an ongoing plan to control public streets, preserve the aesthetic appearance, and impose discipline in the city. He indicated that campaigns will be carried out periodically to confront any random practices or violations as they occur, with continuous field follow-up to ensure the immediate and decisive implementation of decisions.
