Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the progress of work in the “Marina 8” project and the development of the main road leading to the Marina 5 entrance.
He was accompanied during the tour by a number of officials from the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority, in addition to the heads of the New Alamein City and Tourist Villages agencies.
During the tour, the Minister reviewed the ongoing work at the Marina 8 project, established on an area of 179 acres. The project includes residential developments comprising chalets and villas, with a total of 243 buildings containing 917 units.

He was also briefed on the progress of implementing various utility networks, including drinking water, sewage, irrigation, roads, and the electricity network, in addition to following up on road paving and site landscaping work.
Simultaneously, the Minister and the accompanying members inspected the development and improvement works of the main road for the Marina 5 entrance, which extends for a length of 2 kilometers.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini emphasized the importance of intensifying the work pace and setting precise schedules for implementation phases. He stressed the necessity of permanent on-site presence to follow up on the progress of the projects and ensure their completion within the specified deadlines.
