The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, announced his approval to adopt the general strategic plans for 21 villages in Matrouh Governorate.
These villages include diverse areas such as Abu Shorouf Bahi El Din (in Siwa Center), Al-Sharnabeya (in Al-Dabaa Center), Al-Shamama and Awlad Gabril in Al-Hamam Center, alongside many other villages like Abu Muraqqiq Al-Zayyat, Al-Garawla, Alloush, Awlad Mar’i, and Halazeen.

This step comes within the framework of supporting development and balanced urban planning, as the plans were approved according to general planning and building requirements.
Emphasis was placed on adhering to the specified controls for maximum heights approved by the Armed Forces Operations Authority, affiliated with the Ministry of Defense, to ensure that the work aligns with the state’s general policies.
The decision aims to promote sustainable development in these rural areas and improve the level of services and infrastructure. This is expected to positively reflect on the lives of their residents and support efforts for urban expansion in a deliberate and organized manner.
