In celebration of the Grand Egyptian Museum’s opening, the 6th of October City Development Authority, under the supervision of the Minister of Housing, announced the launch of a comprehensive beautification plan targeting electrical kiosks and side walls in key areas.
The initiative aims to enhance the visual appeal of the streets leading to the museum, reflecting the city’s modern and cultural identity.
Engineer Mohamed Mostafa, Head of the Authority, stated that the artwork is being executed by talented local artists to showcase the essence of Egyptian civilization.

He added that the beautification efforts cover major axes such as 26th of July Corridor, Dahshour Link, and Al Wahat Road, with the goal of unifying the city’s aesthetic character and presenting an impressive image to visitors.
Engineer Amal Lotfy explained that the works include painting the kiosks and adding Pharaonic-themed murals that highlight the depth of Egypt’s heritage and the beauty of the roads leading to the museum.
