Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, inaugurated “El-Nady Club” in the New Administrative Capital, with the participation of several ministers and prominent public figures.
The event included a cycling tour and a football match between ministers, held inside the club, which stands out for its modern design and comprehensive sports and service facilities. These include sports courts, fitness halls, swimming pool complexes, and social and recreational amenities.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny praised the fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in developing the sports city, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the efficiency of facilities and infrastructure to serve citizens and create a modern, integrated environment aligned with the state’s vision.

He added that the development works included upgrading water, sewage, and electricity networks, in addition to the construction of a Roman-style theater equipped for hosting public events.
For his part, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy highlighted that the club represents an essential part of the Ministry’s strategy to advance sports and social infrastructure nationwide, stressing the effective collaboration among ministries to establish integrated models that promote sports as a form of soft power and a driver of development.
At the conclusion of the event, both ministers expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the project’s success and reaffirmed their commitment to continue developing sports and social services to meet citizens’ needs.
