The newly announced apartments in New Garden City within the New Administrative Capital have drawn significant attention following the Ministry of Housing’s — represented by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) — release of details about the units offered under the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative, designated for Egyptians living abroad.
The announcement includes 40 residential units with areas ranging from 96 to 215 square meters, located within the New Garden City district. The price per square meter was set between EGP 36,295 and EGP 40,292.
The R5 Residential District, widely known as New Garden City, is considered one of the largest neighborhoods in the New Administrative Capital, spanning 1,000 acres, with 80% of the area dedicated to green spaces.
The district stands out for its unique French-inspired architectural design, mirroring the elegance and luxury of the original Garden City district in downtown Cairo. It encompasses all essential facilities and services — including educational, recreational, commercial, and sports amenities — along with innovatively designed residential units.
Located at the heart of the first phase of the New Administrative Capital, R5 enjoys a strategic position between the fourth and sixth residential districts. It overlooks the Business and Finance District to the north and lies close to the Green River, Ben Zayed South Axis, South 90th Street, the Regional Ring Road, and the Middle Ring Road, ensuring seamless connectivity and accessibility to key areas.
The Ministry of Housing clarified that, due to the high demand witnessed in the first phase of the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative — and the strong desire of Egyptians abroad to own secure and high-quality homes in new urban cities — it has been decided to launch the second phase to meet the growing demand and expand the program’s reach.
The “Your Home in Egypt” initiative represents a joint effort between the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs.
Its main objective is to strengthen ties with Egyptians living abroad by offering them a wide range of residential, administrative, and commercial units in various new projects — all with competitive advantages, whether for investment or residence.
