As part of the government’s ongoing efforts to implement projects under the Housing for All Egyptians initiative, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif El Sherbiny conducted an inspection tour in Hadayek El Ashr Min Ramadan City to review the progress of the Green Housing projects, which comprise 2,130 residential units, as well as to follow up on the execution of roads and public services.
The purpose of the visit was to accelerate the pace of work on national projects and ensure the quality of implementation in line with Egypt’s shift toward sustainable urban communities and green building standards. The minister emphasized that Green Housing integrates social and environmental dimensions through eco-friendly technologies that promote energy and water efficiency.
During his tour, the minister also inspected the development of the city’s main entrance from Belbeis Road leading to District 27. He instructed officials to expedite construction works, improve the overall site layout, and establish a gateway that reflects the city’s modern urban identity. He also stressed the importance of developing irrigation networks to preserve green spaces and increase tree planting across the area.

Minister El Sherbiny reviewed the progress of infrastructure and community service projects, urging all parties to adhere strictly to the project timeline to ensure timely delivery of residential units while maintaining environmental quality and sustainability. He further highlighted the need for continuous on-site supervision to overcome any obstacles that could delay progress.
He pointed out that the ministry is closely cooperating with the New Urban Communities Authority and the City Authority to complete infrastructure and service projects, aiming to provide a high-quality living environment for residents. El Sherbiny affirmed that the Housing for All Egyptians initiative forms a key pillar of the state’s strategy to provide adequate housing and promote sustainable urban development in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
