Minister of Housing Inspects 538 Buildings under the Presidential Initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in 10th of Ramadan City

Following his inspection of road and axis development works inside the city, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, conducted a field tour to review the residential units of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in 10th of Ramadan City.

The visit focused on assessing the progress achieved so far and monitoring the ongoing implementation at various residential sites and related service projects, accompanied by several officials from the Ministry of Housing, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the City Authority.

The visit included the inspection of units being implemented under the presidential initiative in the Narges 1 and Narges 2 neighborhoods within the fifth and sixth phases of the project. The fifth phase comprises 298 buildings with a total of 7,152 housing units, each with an area of 90 square meters. The sixth phase includes 240 buildings containing 5,760 fully serviced residential units of the same size.

During the tour, the Minister ascended one of the buildings to review the workflow and ensure compliance with the prescribed specifications. He also visited one of the completed residential units to examine the finishing quality, confirm its adherence to the approved standards, and ensure that the units are delivered to beneficiaries with the highest levels of quality.

As part of monitoring the service projects linked to the housing initiative, the Minister inspected several facilities located on-site, including two schools, two nurseries, two commercial markets, and two medical centers.

During his tour, the Minister emphasized the importance of adhering to the technical and construction standards specified for each unit. He also stressed the need to maintain green spaces, improve landscape coordination, and continue monitoring the remaining on-ground works in line with citizens’ expectations.
