Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, during his weekly press conference held Thursday evening at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, discussed key issues related to Egypt’s real estate sector and economy. He highlighted that one of his meetings this week was with members of the Advisory Committee for Urban Development and Real Estate Export, where deliberations focused on the private sector and the possibility of a real estate bubble.
During the conference, the Prime Minister stressed that, based on his discussions with real estate developers, the Egyptian property market enjoys stability and natural growth, making the likelihood of any crisis similar to real estate bubbles unlikely. He also pointed out the rising international demand for Egyptian housing units, with interest coming from many countries.
Regarding the New Administrative Capital project, Madbouly addressed concerns about its viability and economic value, explaining that the Administrative Capital Company has achieved significant profits that enabled it to pay taxes amounting to 8 billion EGP.
As for foreign trade, the Prime Minister referred to the state’s efforts to reduce the trade gap and shrink the trade deficit by boosting both goods and services exports, with the ultimate goal of reaching a total export value of $145 billion.
