Engineer Sherif El-Shorbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, inaugurated the 14th edition of Cityscape Egypt, which runs until September 27 at the Egypt International Exhibitions and Conferences Center under the patronage of the Prime Minister. The exhibition is considered the largest real estate platform in the local and regional market, with the participation of an elite group of leading real estate developers.
During his tour of the exhibition, the Minister listened to company presentations about urban projects and held discussions with Arab developers regarding investment opportunities and partnerships in the Egyptian market. The Minister emphasized that the wide participation in the exhibition reflects the strength of the Egyptian real estate market, which has achieved unprecedented urban accomplishments under President El-Sisi’s leadership. He pointed out that the market has become a model of sustainable development, combining high-quality planning with diverse investment opportunities.

He explained that Egypt provides an attractive and stable investment environment through clear legislation, transparent and swift mechanisms, and the creation of a safe climate for investors that guarantees the sustainability of their businesses. He stressed that the continued demand for real estate ensures the success of long-term investments. He added that the strategy of the Ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority focuses on providing land for various activities, offering new housing models, and developing smart and sustainable cities that meet citizens’ needs while strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional hub for real estate investment.
The Minister concluded his tour by thanking the organizers, sponsors, and participants, stressing that international attendance reinforces confidence in the Egyptian economy and highlights the market as a leading investment destination. This year’s edition includes a new international pavilion featuring global companies, further enhancing the exhibition’s status as a prominent regional and international event since its launch in 2012. Cityscape is held in several countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar, and brings together more than 80 real estate developers in each edition.
