In continuation of the directives of Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, to confront all forms of land encroachments and building violations, as well as to ensure the immediate removal of any new attempts at violations, the administration of West Mansoura District has intensified its efforts in organizing field campaigns targeting buildings within the district’s jurisdiction.
During the campaign launched today, Thursday, construction work was halted and the fifth upper floor of a violating property located on Taha Shawky Street in the Mubarak City area was removed, due to exceeding the permitted 25% service ratio. Additionally, an illegal projection on the first upper floor of another building in the Hod Abu El-Leil area was demolished, as both cases violated the provisions of Building Law No. 119 of 2008 and its executive regulations.

The head of the district emphasized the importance of strengthening monitoring efforts and continuous follow-up to review building permits within the district and to address violations immediately at their onset. He also stressed the need to take legal measures against violators, directing his deputies and officials from the concerned departments to double their fieldwork efforts to ensure continuous inspection of all buildings and to confront any encroachment attempts promptly and effectively.
