President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has affirmed Egypt’s desire to establish an American industrial zone within the Suez Canal Economic Zone, emphasizing the Egyptian side’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities to American investors.
During his meeting with a delegation of American business leaders participating in the Egypt-U.S. Economic Forum held in Cairo, President Sisi expressed Egypt’s willingness to cooperate with the American business community and investors in all economic fields of mutual interest. He particularly highlighted this readiness in light of U.S. President Donald Trump’s policies that support strengthening cooperation between Egyptian and American companies.
Sisi also reiterated Egypt’s ambition to become a major industrial hub for American industries, citing Egypt’s large market and strategic position as a gateway to the Arab region and the African continent—especially given the strong ties Egypt maintains with African nations.
