President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Housing to discuss the Ministry of Housing’s projects, particularly those designated for Egyptians living abroad. During the meeting, the initiatives “Your Home in Egypt” and “Beit Al Watan” were reviewed, aiming to provide housing units for expatriates. The President directed the acceleration of construction efforts for these initiatives and emphasized the importance of ensuring suitable housing for all citizens. Additionally, he stressed the need to offer approximately 400,000 housing units for low- and middle-income citizens as soon as possible.
The official spokesperson stated that the meeting also included a review of the implementation progress of several developmental projects, particularly in the North Coast region. In this context, the President highlighted the importance of maintaining continuous communication with the executing companies and working to expedite project implementation. He also emphasized the necessity of regular follow-ups to ensure optimal results, which would contribute to developing these assets and maximize their benefits as part of supporting the tourism sector and achieving Egypt’s development vision.
Furthermore, the spokesperson explained that the President directed intensified efforts to maximize the utilization of the advanced infrastructure the state has developed over the past years. He stressed the importance of ongoing supervision of the projects under execution and monitoring the status and procedures for launching the housing units implemented in the upcoming phase.
