The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, has announced the offering of 25,012 social housing units for the year 2025, with reservation fees payable beginning Sunday, November 16, 2025, through the Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform.
This offering is part of the second phase of the largest housing project prepared by the Ministry, which includes approximately 400,000 residential units being implemented in multiple phases.
Minister Sherif El-Sherbini confirmed that the Ministry continues to implement the directives of the political leadership aimed at providing suitable housing units for every citizen. He added that efforts are focused on executing projects with high-quality standards across the new cities, in line with the vision of the New Republic and the state’s comprehensive urban development strategy.

Regarding the application process, the Minister explained that citizens wishing to apply for these units can log into the Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform and select the Housing Offers section, or visit the dedicated link: reservations.realestate.gov.eg to create an account and register their information.
He also pointed out that an instructional video is available explaining all necessary steps, including downloading the project’s conditions booklet and selecting the appropriate unit. The payment of the reservation deposit begins Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini added that the Ministry is working to simplify all procedures related to applying for housing units, ensuring a smooth and organized experience that facilitates the reservation process for citizens, while also addressing any issues that may arise during the application period.
