Dr. Eng. Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the Tourist Villages Authority, continued his inspection tours to oversee the improvement works in the Champs-Élysées area. He was accompanied by Eng. Amr Mohi, Deputy Head of the Authority, Engineers Mina Raafat, and Mohamed Said, both assistants to the Head of the Authority, Eng. Ali Al-Naggar, Head of Monitoring, and Eng. Mohamed Badr, Security Director and General Supervisor of Development.
The Head of the Authority explained that these tours are part of the authority’s plan to monitor the progress of service road expansion works and the duplication of the road from Marina (1) to Marina (3). Additionally, a separation wall is being built to revitalize and develop the service area, which has reached 25% completion and is estimated to cost approximately EGP 200 million.
He added that the completion and development of services aim to enhance the roads and services in Marina El-Alamein Tourist Center, which is affiliated with the New Urban Communities Authority. This initiative is created to meet the demands of Marina’s property owners and visitors by improving services and reopening the Roman Theater to serve the public.
The Head of the Authority directed the Roads Department to expedite the landscaping works around the Roman Theater and coordinate with specialists to ensure the optimal utilization of the area. He also confirmed that new services will soon be launched in the area, contributing to the growth of the tourism sector.
