Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, concluded his inspection tour today by following up on the progress of work and ongoing projects in Capital Gardens City, accompanied by officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the Head of the City Authority.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny began his tour by inspecting the entrance to Capital Gardens City, where he reviewed the progress of roadworks, landscaping, and lighting, emphasizing the importance of maintaining green areas and providing clear directional signage along the main and internal roads of the city.
The Minister, along with his team, then proceeded to inspect the units of the Presidential Initiative “Housing for All Egyptians – Limited and Middle-Income Axis.” During the tour, the Minister visited the apartment buildings, stressing the importance of regular maintenance for landscaping and green areas within the project, as well as the upkeep of the buildings’ façades.
During the visit, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny listened to a detailed presentation on the Presidential Initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in Capital Gardens City. Engineer Ammar Mandour, Head of the City Authority, explained that the total number of units in the city amounts to 120,186 units, including 112,818 units allocated for low-income citizens, with 38,928 units completed and currently being handed over. He also noted that there are an additional 7,368 units for middle-income citizens under construction at advanced stages. Furthermore, he highlighted the wide range of services being implemented to meet the needs of residents, such as educational, security, healthcare, sports, and religious services, in addition to commercial markets.
