Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting to review the procedures for offering a new batch of housing units for reservation under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.” The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Eng attended the meeting. Sherif El-Sherbiny; Assistant Chairman of the Engineering Authority for Projects, Major General Mohamed Mahrous; Assistant Chairman of the Engineering Authority for Housing, Major General Amr Mansour; and Vice Presidents of the New Urban Communities Authority, Eng. Kamal Bahgat and Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagi.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly emphasized that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has instructed the government to prepare to offer the most significant number of housing units implemented by the Ministry of Housing and the Armed Forces Engineering Authority. These units aim to benefit low—and middle-income groups, contributing to meeting the demand for homeownership within these segments.
According to the official spokesperson for the Cabinet, Counselor Mohamed El-Homsany, the Ministry of Housing and the Armed Forces Engineering Authority are working on delivering approximately 400,000 housing units designated for low- and middle-income groups in several new cities and governorates, with varying unit sizes. He added that procedures for launching and announcing the reservation process would begin after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, along with publishing the conditions, booking mechanisms, and payment plans, in addition to promoting these units.
El-Homsany also noted that joint working groups will be formed between the involved entities to finalize the details of the offering, including the number of units, their sizes, and the completion rates. He highlighted that some units are already ready for delivery, and the details will soon be presented to the Prime Minister before the final proposal is submitted to the President.
