Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny emphasized that this step is part of the ongoing efforts to regularize the legal status of citizens and entities residing on lands newly added to various new cities. It also aligns with the government’s strategy to ensure proper land-use planning in these areas, aimed at offering more investment opportunities and establishing fully integrated urban communities.

Dr. Ahmed Ismail, Head of the New Obour City Authority, clarified that citizens wishing to attend must be present at the authority’s headquarters starting at 10:00 AM on the scheduled date to register their attendance. He noted that the gates will close at 12:00 PM sharp, after which the public lottery will begin. Attendees must present valid identification and the original payment receipt to participate in the draw.
