Under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the ninth edition of the Builders of Egypt Forum, the largest event in the construction sector, commenced today. Attending the event were Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development; Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Enterprises; Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities; alongside various Arab and African delegations. The forum focuses on the mechanisms for exporting Egyptian construction and complementary industries to regional markets, while exploring the potential for replicating successful Egyptian development models in international markets.
The forum, titled “Opportunities for Egyptian Companies in Regional Development Plans”, is organized by Excellent Communication in cooperation with the African Union of Construction Contractors. It discusses regional development plans and the major projects shaping the region amidst global challenges, examining the potential for Egyptian companies to participate in infrastructure, construction, energy, and technology projects.
Key sessions at the forum include discussions by ministers, senior officials, and leaders from major companies in construction, real estate development, and sustainable development. Participating countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Libya, and Iraq, share their strategies for reconstruction and economic development, laying the groundwork for partnerships with Egyptian firms.
The forum also brings together major international financial institutions, including the Islamic Development Bank, the African Development Bank, and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, to explore investment opportunities.
