Many citizens are eagerly anticipating the launch of housing units across various categories, including low-income, middle-income, upper-middle, and luxury housing. This was announced by the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, during a press conference held last Thursday.

Approximately 115,000 residential units have been offered under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 7”, which targets low- and middle-income groups.
Social housing units are available in several governorates and new cities and are offered through the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund affiliated with the ministry.
Applications for middle-income housing units will open on April 15, with the condition booklets available for purchase starting May 15. As for low-income social housing units, they will be announced starting July 1, with an expected offering of approximately 100,000 units.
The condition booklets for the social housing units available in July will be accessible through Egypt’s Digital Platform in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Details of Housing Units for Various Social Categories
A total of 261,253 residential units have been launched through the Housing and Development Bank, catering to various social categories, from low-income and middle-income groups to upper-middle and luxury segments.
The unit prices will range between 10,000 and 35,000 EGP per square meter, depending on the type of housing, level of finishing, and project location.
