The Ministry of Housing has announced the launch of 100,000 new housing units as part of two projects, “Diarna” and “Zilal,” in several new cities. These projects are designed for middle-income and upper-middle-income individuals and are being implemented by the New Urban Communities Authority. This initiative follows the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide a fully integrated urban environment that meets the needs of various social groups.

The construction of approximately 60,000 housing units will begin as part of the Diarna project.

The project includes 2,310 residential buildings.

Model A buildings consist of a ground floor, five additional floors, and a rooftop floor, bringing the total number of housing units in each building to 26.
Units in Model A Buildings
All units in Model A buildings include three bedrooms, including a master bedroom, and come with full finishing. Each building is equipped with one elevator.

The unit sizes in Model A vary depending on the floor. The 24 standard units in each building range between 117 m² and 132 m² per unit.

Additionally, there are two penthouse units on the rooftop floor, each measuring 153 m², with an additional rooftop space of 111 m² for each unit.
Model B Buildings
Model B buildings also consist of a ground floor, five additional floors, and a rooftop floor, with a total of 26 housing units per building, divided into 13 units per section.

Some units in Model B feature three bedrooms, including a master bedroom, while 13 other units have two bedrooms, one of which is a master.

All units come with full finishing and are equipped with a single elevator.

The 24 standard units (on the ground and repeated floors) range from 105 m² to 135 m² per unit.

There are also two penthouse units on the rooftop floor, each 145 m², with an additional rooftop space of 95 m² per unit.

Additionally, two other penthouse units are 155 m² each, with a rooftop space of 115 m² per unit.
The Ministry of Housing has also confirmed that fences and gates will be installed around the project’s residential buildings in each city. The project will include landscaping, garden lighting, security camera surveillance systems, and designated parking areas.
