Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting today with officials from a specialized engineering consultancy firm to discuss the latest updates on projects planned as part of the development of the Magra El-Oyoun Wall area in Cairo Governorate. The meeting was also attended by officials from the Ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority.
The Minister of Housing emphasized that the development of the Magra El-Oyoun Wall area is one of the most prominent projects currently being implemented in Cairo. This initiative comes within the framework of the political leadership’s directives aimed at restoring the city’s urban beauty and enabling it to reclaim its historical, cultural, and touristic role.
During the meeting, the Minister of Housing presented proposals for the projects to be implemented in the area. These include a service, administrative, commercial, and hotel building. Details of the project were also reviewed, including parking spaces, restaurants, cafeterias, retail shops, banks, and other services.
The project’s timeline and its three-phase structure were also discussed. The Minister directed the immediate commencement of the project and the finalization of designs to begin execution. He also stressed the need for regular follow-up by the Ministry’s team to overcome any obstacles that may hinder progress.
