Steps to Apply for Housing for All Egyptians 7 Apartments, A Special Opportunity for Low-Income Individuals

The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has officially launched online reservations for the seventh phase of the “Housing for All Egyptians 7” initiative, aimed at the middle-income segment. Applications are open from May 21 to June 4, 2025, through the Social Housing Fund’s official website. This phase includes over 15,000 housing units, of which:

  • 396 units are ready for immediate delivery,

  • 9,872 units will be delivered within 18 months,

  • 5,372 units will be delivered within 36 months.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following income conditions:

  • Maximum monthly income:

    • EGP 20,000 for individuals

    • EGP 25,000 for families

The units range in size from 90 to 127 square meters and are available in cities such as Hurghada and New Damietta.

Contracts are offered through mortgage financing, requiring a minimum down payment of 25% of the unit’s value. The annual interest rate is 12%, with repayment periods of up to 20 years.

Required Fees

Applicants must pay the following non-refundable and refundable fees:

  • EGP 100,000 as a reservation deposit (refundable if not selected)

  • EGP 500 for registration expenses

  • EGP 350 for administrative fees (non-refundable)

How to Apply for “Housing for All Egyptians 7” Apartments

The application process is conducted online through the following steps:

  1. Download the application booklet (Kurat Al-Shorout).

  2. Register personal information via the website.

  3. Upload required documents in PDF format.

Required Documents

Applicants must upload the following:

  • National ID card (both sides)

  • Proof of income (salary statement, pension slip, etc.)

  • Documents verifying any additional income, if applicable

Application Review Process

All applications are subject to eligibility screening and verification. After the initial evaluation:

  • A grievance period will be opened to allow appeals.

  • Final unit allocation will be done electronically within 10 days.

  • Selected applicants will be notified via SMS.

This initiative presents a valuable opportunity for middle-income individuals and families looking to secure affordable housing in well-serviced urban areas under favorable financing terms.
