The Ministry of Housing has announced the launch of the second phase of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 7” for low- and middle-income citizens, starting from July 15, 2025. Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund, explained that the fund has made several decisions to simplify procedures in response to citizen feedback.
For applicants who were outside the priority scope in the previous offering “Housing for All Egyptians 5,” they are required to upload their unit reservation form and proof of down payment in addition to updating their marital status or employment information. As for applicants who were ineligible, they must upload the documents that led to their rejection.
The CEO further announced that all applicants who were deemed ineligible under the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” initiative and were unable to retrieve their reservation down payments can now recover them during the new application period. The recovery will be subject to administrative fees of EGP 350 and registration fees of EGP 350, while previously registered applicants will be exempt from the administrative fees.
Moreover, the brochure is now available for download online through designated links, allowing citizens to easily review the terms and pay the fees electronically, helping to reduce crowding and streamline the process.
