Today, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of several development and infrastructure projects in Badr City. He was accompanied during the tour by officials from the Ministry of Housing, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the Head of the City Authority.
At the beginning of his tour, the minister inspected Drinking Water Pumping Station No. 5, which has a capacity of 370,000 cubic meters per day. He reviewed the components of the station and monitored the workflow, ensuring the efficiency of the power generators. In addition, he followed up on the ongoing works at Sewage Treatment Plant No. 3.
The Minister of Housing, along with his accompanying delegation, inspected the entrance of Badr City, its roads, and main axes, stressing the importance of maintaining the Robiki Road, improving green areas, and removing waste. He also followed up on the middle-income housing project in the city, which includes electricity, drinking water, and sewage works for 44 residential buildings. He emphasized the need to adhere to quality standards and conduct regular follow-ups to ensure the delivery of units within the scheduled timelines.
