Eng. Ali Saad, Head of the May 15th City Development Authority, announced the completion of road maintenance in the first and second phases, which includes repairing the asphalt, sidewalks, and re-marking the roads.
This project is part of a comprehensive development plan aimed at improving the quality of roads and easing traffic flow, with a focus on citizen safety and urban aesthetics. Saad has instructed that work be intensified to finish the project quickly and ensure the comfort of residents.
The Security and Violations Departments, led by Ihab Mahmoud, carried out an intensive campaign in the city to monitor traffic flow and remove encroachments from public roads, including the market in Neighborhood 20. The campaign resulted in the removal of obstructions hindering traffic and the confiscation of a tuk-tuk and tricycle from a street vendor, with the seized vehicles being held for further action. Authorities confirmed that the campaigns will continue to enforce violations and achieve smooth traffic flow, while taking the necessary legal measures against offenders.
