Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, announced the details of the new phase of the presidential initiative Housing for All Egyptians 7, dedicated to low- and middle-income citizens. The offering consists of two phases. The first phase includes 15,000 residential units for middle-income applicants, with applications open from May 21, 2025, to June 4, 2025. During this period, applications will be screened, and eligibility conditions will be determined. Following this, a period will be designated for submitting appeals. Qualified applicants will then be able to choose their units through a designated website, and SMS messages will be sent to them with reservation details. Priority will be given to middle-income applicants.
The Minister also announced the offering of 101,000 residential units (social housing) for low- and middle-income groups from July 8, 2025, to August 7, 2025, through a random electronic allocation system. Applications are restricted to those who previously applied under the Housing for All Egyptians 5 announcement but were found ineligible, provided they withdraw the previous reservation deposit. Applications will be reviewed again to determine eligibility, followed by a period to submit appeals and finalize the applicants’ status.
The offering includes residential units in new cities such as El Obour, 10th of Ramadan, Capital Gardens, 15th of May, New Akhmim, Luxor, New October, Sadat City, Badr, Tiba, Borg El Arab, New Sohag, New Qena, and New Minya.
It also includes units in towns across the governorates of Aswan, Assiut, Luxor, Giza, Fayoum, Minya, Menoufia, Sohag, Qena, Damietta, Red Sea, Dakahlia, New Valley, Matrouh, and Beheira, with unit sizes ranging from 75 to 90 square meters.
