The Board of Directors of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), chaired by Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has approved the extension of the 50% reduction on fees for assignment procedures related to residential, professional, and administrative units, commercial shops, and land for an additional six months, subject to specific regulations. This decision aims to facilitate procedures for citizens and investors.
Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny stated that the board’s decision extends the reduced assignment fees for another six months, applicable when clients submit requests to new city authorities to complete the assignment procedures for residential, professional, and administrative units, commercial shops and land of various activities and sizes (residential, commercial, integrated urban projects, etc.) within NUCA-affiliated cities. This extension aligns with the provisions of the real estate regulations and the applicable rules while adhering to specific conditions. The new extension period will commence from the expiration of the previous deadline on March 29, 2025, maintaining the same terms as stated in the last decision.
