Progress on Residential Projects in Badr City

Engineer Mohamed Abdel Aziz Amer, Head of the Badr Urban Development Authority, and Engineer Mohamed Hamdy, Head of the Central Construction Administration at the New Urban Communities Authority, along with other officials, conducted an inspection tour of several residential projects in Badr City. The visit focused on various key developments, including unique residential buildings, medium-income housing, and the third phase of government employee housing.

Key Developments:

  • Completion of 92 Residential Buildings: The officials reviewed a significant project comprising 92 residential buildings, including 2,208 housing units. Construction progress has reached 92%, and the buildings are expected to be completed by December 30, 2024.
  • Government Employee Housing: The tour also included an inspection of the third phase of the housing project for government employees, which consists of 295 buildings and 7,080 housing units.
  • Medium-Income Housing: The inspection extended to the medium-income housing project, which includes 44 buildings with 1,056 units. The construction progress for this project has reached 66%.

During the visit, a coordination meeting was held to discuss the current status of the ongoing projects, including the services provided and the claims of the companies involved. The officials emphasized the importance of maintaining the pace of work to ensure timely completion with high-quality standards.
