Progress in Roadworks at New Cairo’s Al-Narges Extension and West Golf Area

Eng. Abdelraouf El-Ghaity, Head of the New Cairo City Authority, along with other officials, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of roadworks in the Al-Narges Extension and West Golf areas in the Third Settlement of New Cairo. The tour focused on the completion of road foundations in Zone G, with 13 streets finished, spanning widths from 9 to 14 meters and totaling 4,766.47 meters in length.

Eng. Hatem Bakr, Director of Roads at the New Cairo City Authority, reported that leveling and clearing operations are underway in Zones C and A. Additionally, road foundation work has been completed on Roads 38, 39, 40, and 41 in Zone C, as well as Road 27 in Zone A, with ongoing work across all streets in the area.

El-Ghaity also inspected West Golf Extension, where roadworks have been completed on 12 streets, and efforts are continuing to finish all roads in the area.

It is noteworthy that the electrical network in the area has been energized, and the trial operation of the Al-Narges Extension sewage station is now underway. The station will collect wastewater from the “Bait Al-Watan” plots, designated for Egyptians working abroad, and transfer it to the South Investors sewage station via a dedicated line.
